La Haine

Director Mathieu Kassovitz shoots on location in the Paris suburb Chanteloup-les-Vignes, as Vinz (Vincent Cassel) surprises Said (Kaghaoui) and Hubert (Kounde) by revealing he has the gun that a cop lost in the riot yesterday in which another pal was brutally beaten, in La Haine, 1995.

After opening with footage of a riot in the Paris ghetto suburbs, Director Mathieu Kassovitz brings Said (Said Taghaoui) to see pal Vinz (Vincent Cassel) who has an irritated sister and grandma (Heloise Rauth, Rywka Wajsbrot) and a thing about Taxi Driver, in La Haine, 1995.
