Jean Harlow (title character), American showgirl in London suddenly without a gig, rehearsing her scheme to land presumably wealthy Franchot Tone, whom she met the night before, has a confab with nosy landlady Una O'Connor until he arrives, confounding expectations, early in Suzy, 1936.
