Leonard Maltin's Classic Movie Guide--New Additions

Leonard Maltin is one of the most respected and trusted film critics and historians, and is perhaps best known for his widely used Movie Guide as well as the companion volume, Leonard Maltin's Classic Movie Guide--the definitive guide to classic films. On September 28, Turner Classic Movies celebrates the newest edition of the Classic Movie Guide, thoroughly revised and updated, with an evening of programming featuring films that have been added to the collection, including two TCM premieres: Why Be Good? (1929) and Among the Missing (1934).

Now co-branded with Turner Classic Movies, Leonard Maltin's Classic Movie Guide covers films from Hollywood and around the world, from the silent era through 1965, and from The Maltese Falcon to Singin' in the Rain and Godzilla, King of the Monsters! Thoroughly revised and updated, and featuring expanded indexes, a list of Maltin's personal recommendations, and more than two hundred new entries including many offbeat and obscure films. This new edition is a must-have companion for every movie lover, and will be available on September 29.
