Synopsis

Tip Douglas, disguised as a bandit, is searching for the killer of his father, a ranger who was murdered when he tried to break up a gang of rustlers. He is aided by his friend, Pepper, a lawman. Tip steals money from a stagecoach in order to meet the members of the gang. They bring him to Thorn Evans' house, where he meets Evans' ward, Nancy Drake. Meanwhile, Pepper sets up a deal to buy cheap cattle from Evans. Evans tells Pepper that the cattle originate in Mexico, but actually, his men steal the animals from rancher Turner and drive them across the border. Masquerading as the Laredo Kid, Tip soon learns that Evans killed his father. When Evans plans to raid the largest ranch in the area, Tip sets a trap. Pepper lures Evans to the place where the stolen cattle are hidden by revealing that Tip is not the Laredo Kid. Tip then rigs an explosion that blocks the rustlers' escape route and members of the Cattlemen's Association attack them. After Evans is killed and Tip's vengeance is complete, he and Nancy make plans to marry.
