Eric, an athletically gifted, American-born Asian, has longed for motivation ever since the unexpected loss of his dad. Uninspired and underachieving, he re-experiences his senior year of college while assuming a younger student's identity. Monica, an intellectually gifted, All-American co-ed, has longed for validation ever since the devastating abandonment of her birth parents. Sexually abused and mentally unstable, she self-destructs during her junior year of college while searching for her own identity. Through cultural, ethical, and generational challenges, Eric and Monica hide their true selves from one another as long as they can. But only his forgiving heart and mature mind can help ground her increasingly psychotic behavior back to realty with any hope of resolution.
