Cast & Crew
Schroeder, a surgeon who has lost his license because of his drug addiction, picks up his allotment of drugs at an all-night drugstore. There he recognizes another customer, Dr. Leichner, as a man he knew in Vienna in his younger days, a man who was then an active Nazi. Schroeder confides his belief in yet another customer, Diane Graydon. Three hoodlums led by Brennan next arrive and demand that Schroeder operate on one of them. Leichner then returns to the shop with his wife, Vivienne, and it becomes clear that he is head of a drug racket and that Vivienne is a contact for the dealers. The police, tipped off by Diane, a secret agent, break the drug ring, killing Leichner. For his part in the breakup of the ring, Schroeder hopes to regain his license.
