Synopsis
Arthur, a disabled boy in the early twentieth century, and Esther, a young woman in the present with cerebral palsy, search for the elusive, mysterious Skallagrigg. Esther, her two disabled friends and her father go on a road trip through rural Britain's institutions for the disabled, looking for pieces of the Skallagrigg legend. As they search, Arthur's harrowing life--seen in flashbacks--and the true meaning of the Skallagrigg become closer and closer.
