Marion Barstow is coaxed into marriage to the older Sir Rankin Chatsworth by her parents, even though she is in love with a younger man. Seventeen years later, Marion is a neglected wife whose only happiness is her two daughters, Kathleen and Rose. Because she fears that Sir Rankin will be a bad influence on her daughters, she decides to send them to America. To that end, she entrusts them to Camille, who turns out to be a white slaver. When the ship carrying Camille and the girls arrives in America, the girls are almost captured by Camille's cohort, but they are rescued by Richard Warren coincidentally Marion's former sweetheart. All ends happily when Marion and Richard are reconciled through the efforts of her daughters.
