Synopsis
Betty Foster comes west to visit her uncle and witnesses a robbery in which $10,000 of her uncle's money is stolen. Appalled by the lack of heroics on the part of her uncle's foreman, Pete Grainger, Betty accidentally learns the probable location of the stolen money and, turning bandit, steals a box of apples in which she suspects the money to be hidden. The box turns out to be the wrong one, but Pete soon recovers the money and kills Merrill, the man who held him up. Pete wins Betty's heart with his heroics and a new suit of clothes.
