Synopsis
A young doctor, Dean Richardson, rescues Dixie Mowbray, whose canoe has overturned in the lake near his home, and learns that she is fleeing from some mysterious pursuers. During her convalescence they fall in love, and the girl agrees to marry the doctor if he will ask no questions about her past. A Federal agent, a friend of the doctor's, is sent from Washington to find the gang responsible for a post office robbery. Suspense builds, and the agent discovers that his friend's wife acted as lookout for the gang.
