Synopsis

Sheriff Bob Smith catches Moore, an innocent man who has been unjustly accused of having committed a crime, and discovers that his prisoner is none other that the brother of Molly Smith, Bob's sweetheart. During Bob's absence from town, Brick Dawson defames his character and has himself elected sheriff in Bob's place. Bob returns with Moore, who is sentenced to jail, asking Bob to look after Molly. Bob takes good care of the girl and also clears Moore of the charges against him by exposing the wrongdoings of an outlaw gang led by Perdue. Dawson is convicted along with the Perdue gang, and Bob gets back his job as sheriff.
