Synopsis

When Westerner Job McCoy rescues Diana Hughes's hat as it blows off the observation platform of the Texas Limited , Diana invites him to visit her and her uncle at the Ninevah gold mines. Smitten with Diana, Job proceeds directly to Ninevah where Diana's uncle, Howard Marlowe, is experiencing difficulties in running the mines. In addition to Marlowe's managerial problems, his wife Eileen has become enamored of Frank Otis, an unscrupulous man who plans to rob the mines and elope with Eileen. Job, a frequent visitor to the Marlowes', discovers the plan and outwits Otis. Eileen sees the error of her ways and returns to her husband; Diana becomes engaged to an Easterner; and Job is left with no one.
