Synopsis
A fictionalized account of the magical events that transformed the life of famed escape artist, Harry Houdini, when he was a youngster. After a performance, Houdini describes to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle how, at age 12, he ran away from home to join a traveling show to learn how to become a magician. Under the tutelage of Dr. Grimaldi, the show's impresario, and Grimaldi's Indian assistant, the boy's curiosity about the supernatural is sparked and he is instilled with the confidence he'll need to become a world-famous performer.
