Synopsis
In this movie pilot (which is a spinoff of the CBS series "Walker, Texas Ranger"), contemporary Texas Ranger Cordell Walker helps one of his former "Kick Drugs Out of America" students to complete the transition from childhood to adulthood and find his life's mission when the young man's father, Minister Thunder Malloy, suddenly dies. After his father's death, Trent Malloy returns home from a stint in the military and gets a job as a mall security guard to help support his family. He impresses Walker, who along with Pastor Roscoe Jones, gives Trent the confidence to fulfill his potential. Meanwhile, Walker and his friends come up against a madman on a cop-killing spree in Dallas.
