"Mississippi Freedom Summer" is a dramatization about Sue Brown, a civil rights black activist living in Meridian, Mississippi, in 1964. "Guadalupe River" tells the story of Sergeant Keith MacKenzie and his team who helped rescue a busload of passengers from the overflowing river.
