Synopsis

George Piper, a bored nine-to-five banker, is obsessed by the heroism of his great-great-great grandfather, Civil War veteran Jeremiah Piper. In an attempt to ignite a spark in his life while at the same time bringing his family back together, he rents a deluxe RV and plans a family vacation. With an inspired George at the helm, the reluctant Piper clan sets out to retrace the wartime heroic escapades of old Jeremiah as related in his heirloom diary. Through a series of misadventures and unexpected dangers, the Pipers reclaim the meaning of their own family and dispel the myths surrounding their legendary ancestor.
