Synopsis
Docudrama relates the story of pair skating champions, Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov from their beginnings in Moscow through their upset victory at the World Championships in 1986 and two subsequent Olympic gold medals. Chronicles the growth of their relationship from professional to personal with their marriage in 1991, the birth of their daughter Daria in 1992 and the unexpected death of Sergei in 1995 that brought a tragic end to their union. Based on Gordeeva's book "My Sergei" and makes use of archival footage and well as some dramatic reenactments.
