Synopsis
Isabella Delarocca left her home in Italy, determined to take Hollywood by storm. Beautiful and intelligent, Isabella believes with conviction that she can do anything she puts her mind to. When a friend in her acting class is arrested for the murder of his father, she vows to help him by solving the crime. Knowing this might require some professional help, she seeks out the jaded private detective who lives in her building. Steve Order is still nursing the wounds of a malpractice suit that destroyed his client base and moved him from a posh Beverly Hills condo to a West Hollywood one-bedroom apartment. Embittered and vulnerable, the last thing he needs is an enthusiastic amateur partner, but somehow the two find a way to work together.
