Synopsis

A beautiful and bold Princess falls head over heels for a man who is her sworn enemy: Agis, the rightful heir to the Princess' stolen kingdom. To get close to Agis, who is exiled in a secluded villa, the Princess will have to break all the rules and even bend her gender, disguising herself as a young male scholar. She also must outwit Agis' life-long protectors: the rational philosopher Hermocrates and his scientific spinster Leontine, who have raised Agis to avoid all things romantic. Using her powerful talent for seduction (and slipping between male and female personalities) the Princess takes aim on Agis but, in the process, accidentally winds up engaged to three different people. Now, as she tries to unravel her wildly tangled web, the Princess discovers love's many strands: from deceit to sweetness, from cruelty to ecstasy.
