Synopsis

Ray is a single father who moves to the small town of Lunar, Nevada, to raise his son Logan and run a garage and gas station. Hope is a recently divorced woman who returns to her hometown of Lunar to start anew. As the proprietor of the local inn, Hope awaits the arrival of several tourists. Lunar is a tourist attraction because of its proximity to the UFO-study Air Force base called "Area 51." Just as the tourists arrive, everyone begins to notice that all is not right in the Nevada desert. Eighteen-wheeler trucks have suddenly come to life, operating without drivers and terrorizing people. Led by a refrigerated truck which killed its driver, the trucks trap the unwitting onlookers in a diner and kill anyone who attempts to flee. It is up to Ray to outmaneuver the trucks and lead the group to safety. Based on a Stephen King short story.
