Diffie worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Funny Business With Charlie Chase (11/06/91)" (The Nashville Network, 1991-92), "Home For the Holidays" (The Nashville Network, 1992-93) and "The 26th Annual Country Music Association Awards" (CBS, 1992-93). He also contributed to "The 27th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" (NBC, 1991-92), "The Best of Country '92: Countdown at the Neon Armadillo" (ABC, 1992-93) and "The Beverly Hillbillies" with Diedrich Bader (1993). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "The Roots of Country: Nashville Celebrates the Ryman" (1993-94), "Grand Ole Opry Live Christmas" (The Nashville Network, 1994-95) and "The Best of Country" (CBS, 1994-95). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Front Row Center" (The Nashville Network, 1998-99). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "All My Friends Are Cowboys" (PBS, 1998-99) and "CMA 40th: A Celebration" (CBS, 1998-99). Diffie most recently appeared in "Grand Ole Opry 75th -- A Celebration" (CBS, 2000-01). Diffie won a Best Country Collaboration With Vocals Grammy Award in 1998.
