During the early stages of his Hollywood career, Beyer mainly held acting roles in films like the Jim Carrey blockbuster comedy "Bruce Almighty" (2003). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s and the 2010s, including stints on "The Middle" (ABC, 2009-) and "Ray Donovan" (Showtime, 2013-). More recently, he earned a role in the Steve Carell hit comedy sequel "Evan Almighty" (2007).
