Jacques Godin was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Godin began his acting career appearing in various films, such as the Robert Shaw dramatic adaptation "The Luck of Ginger Coffey" (1964), the dramatic adaptation "The Pyx" (1973) with Karen Black and the drama "Par le sang des autres" (1973) with Mariangela Melato. He also appeared in "A nous deux" (1979) with Catherine Deneuve, "Yesterday" (1979) and "The Amateur" (1981). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the Roger Blay drama "La quarantaine" (1982), "Mario" (1984) with Xavier Norman Petermann and "Equinoxe" (1986). He also appeared in "Henri" (1987). Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in "Salut Victor!" (1988), the Nick Mancuso action movie "Double Identity" (1991) and "Being at Home With Claude" (1993). He also appeared in the Genevieve Rochette drama "Night of the Flood" (1996). Godin most recently acted in "La dernière fugue" (2010).
