Biography
Lew Gallo was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on, Gallo mostly landed roles in various films, including the drama "Pork Chop Hill" (1959) with Gregory Peck, "Odds Against Tomorrow" (1959) and the Jackie Gleason dramatic adaptation "Soldier in the Rain" (1963). He also appeared in "PT109" (1963). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964) and "12 O'Clock High" (ABC, 1964-67). In addition to producing, Gallo also appeared on-screen in the Peter Falk comedy "The Cheap Detective" (1978). Gallo more recently appeared in "Baby of the Bride" (CBS, 1991-92).
