Biography

Tom Douglas worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. In his early acting career, Douglas appeared in such films as "Footfalls" (1921), "The Country Flapper" (1922) and "The Road to Reno" (1931). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Broken Lullaby" (1932) with Lionel Barrymore. In the thirties and the early 2000s, Douglas devoted his time to various credits, such as "West of Singapore" (1933), "The Kissing Place" (USA, 1989-1990) and "Winter Solstice on Ice" (1999-2000). He also worked on "Flicka" (2006) starring Alison Lohman. Douglas's music was also featured in the Sandra Bullock blockbuster dramatic adaptation "The Blind Side" (2009). Douglas was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for "Country Strong" in 2010. Douglas most recently worked on the thriller "Americons" (2015) with B Martin Williams.
