Dave Nichols was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also starred in the TV movies "Cagney & Lacey" (CBS, 1981-82) and "A Deadly Business" (CBS, 1985-86). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Castle Rock" (CBS, 1980-81) and "Taking Care of Terrific" (PBS, 1987-88). He also appeared in various films, such as the mystery "Strange Shadows in an Empty Room" (1976) with Stuart Whitman. Nichols also contributed music to "The Return of Swamp Thing" (1989). During these years, he also worked in film, earning a part in the comedy "Getting Away With Murder" (1996) with Dan Aykroyd. He also starred in the TV movies "Tails You Live, Heads You're Dead" (1995-96), "When Innocence Is Lost" (Lifetime, 1996-97) and "Color of Justice" (Showtime, 1997-98). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Haven" (2000-01). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Soul Food" (2000-04) and "Doc" (ION Television Network, 2000-05). He also acted in films like the Kim Coates action picture "Killing Moon" (2001) and the Milla Jovovich action movie "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" (2004). Nichols most recently appeared in "Nature of the Beast" (ABC Family, 2007-08).
