Roy Brocksmith was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Brocksmith began his acting career with roles in such films as the Sterling Hayden drama "King of the Gypsies" (1978), "Killer Fish" (1979) with Lee Majors and the Woody Allen drama "Stardust Memories" (1980). He also appeared in the horror film "Wolfen" (1981) with Albert Finney, the drama "Tales of Ordinary Madness" (1983) with Ben Gazzara and the comedy adventure "Who's That Girl" (1987) with Madonna. He continued to act in productions like the Judd Nelson action picture "Relentless" (1989), the dramatic comedy "The War of the Roses" (1989) with Michael Douglas and the Sylvester Stallone action movie "Tango & Cash" (1989). He also appeared in the Arnold Schwarzenegger blockbuster action flick "Total Recall" (1990). More recently, he continued to act in "The Hudsucker Proxy" (1994), "Lightning Jack" (1994) and "It Runs in the Family" (1994). He also appeared in the Anthony Hopkins comedic adaptation "The Road to Wellville" (1994) and the dramatic adaptation "The Brave" (1997) with Johnny Depp. Brocksmith most recently acted on "Payne" (CBS, 1998-99).
