Live Wires (1946) - Overgrown Kid The first scene with Leo Gorcey reincarnated as "Slip Mahoney," in the first official "Bowery Boys" movie, who gets into trouble then joins his angered sister (Pamela Blake) and old Dead End and East Side Kids mates (Huntz Hall, Bobby Jordan, Billy Benedict), in Live Wires, 1946.
Live Wires (1946) - Pierce's Peerless In perhaps an archetypal scene for the newly re-named Bowery Boys, Slip (Leo Gorcey) with mates (Huntz Hall, Bobby Jordan, Billy Benedict) and sister (Pamela Blake), tries his new sales pitch on a wary customer (BIlly Christy), early in Live Wires, 1946.
Swing Fever (1943) - That Symphonietta Guy Kay Kyser is the bumbling Southerner in a New York composing house whose sheet music has been snatched, appealing to the secretary (Pamela Blake) with a weird trick until the camera gets stopped by 21-year old MGM contract player, Ava Gardner, in a bit part, in Swing Fever, 1943.
Slightly Dangerous (1943) - Jumbo Banana Split After winning a prize for punctuality in her dead-end soda fountain job, Peggy (Lana Turner) makes a bet with pal Mitzi (Pamela Blake), impressing customers but running afoul of the new boss (Robert Young), early in Slightly Dangerous, 1943, directed by Wesley Ruggles.
This Gun For Hire (1942) - At Home Alone Opening scene, Raven (Alan Ladd) arises and checks his assignment, tangles with the maid (Pamela Blake) then visits blackmailer Baker (Frank Ferguson) and his secretary (Bernadene Hayes), in This Gun For Hire, 1942, from a Graham Greene novel.
Federal Man - Open, Taxpayers Opening credits and it's worth noting, the hero (William Edwards) does not die, after cuddling with his worried wife (Pamela Blake) in the Eagle-Lion production Federal Man, 1950.
