Pierre Larquey was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Larquey found his beginnings in film with roles in the mystery "Quai des Orfevres" (1947) with Louis Jouvet and "Le Corbeau" (1948). Larquey then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Diabolique" (1955) and the dramatic period piece "Royal Affairs in Versailles" (1957) with Claudette Colbert. Later in his career, Larquey acted in the Simone Signoret period drama "The Witches of Salem" (1958). Larquey passed away in April 1962 at the age of 78.
