Biography
Jerry Harrison's musical talents have contributed to a variety of Hollywood productions. Harrison began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the Jeff Daniels comedic drama "Something Wild" (1986), the crime picture "Wall Street" (1987) with Michael Douglas and "Two Moon Junction" (1988) with Kristy McNichol. His music also appeared in the comedy adventure "Little Monsters" (1989) with Fred Savage. In addition to his music, Harrison appeared in "Stop Making Sense" (1984) and "True Stories" (1986). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Harrison's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Inspector Gadget" (1999) with Matthew Broderickthe "Me, Myself and Irene" (2000) film Jim Carrey and the Juliette Binoche drama "Alice and Martin" (2000). His work was also in the Johnny Depp dramatic adaptation "The Secret Window" (2004). Harrison's music was also featured in the musical drama "El Cantante" (2007) with Marc Anthony, "Lars and the Real Girl" (2007) with Ryan Gosling and the comedy "Smiley Face" (2007) with Anna Faris. His music was also featured in the comedic adventure "Nim's Island" (2008) with Jodie Foster and the Bill Maher documentary "Religulous" (2008). Harrison most recently appeared on "Take Me to the River" (2014) with Terrence Howard.
