Here is a set of Lobby Cards from It Came from Beneath the Sea (1955), featuring special effects by Ray Harryhausen. Lobby Cards were 11" x 14" posters that came in sets of 8. As the name implies, they were most often displayed in movie theater lobbies, to advertise current or coming attractions.

Phantom Of Paris, The (1931) - It's A Mischievous God Observing popular magician Cheri-Bibi (John Gilbert) and his hostess, socialite Cecile (Leila Hyams), with a dazzled guest (Tyrell Davis) are Ian Keith as her fiancè Touchais, whom her father has just disinherited, and Natalie Moorhead as Vera, who appears to be only a vile hanger-on, early in The Phantom Of Paris, 1931.

From the top, Edmund Goulding directing, from the William Lindsay Gresham novel, we learn Stan (Tyrone Power) is the new general duty man at the carnival, querying the boss (James Flavin), and supporting the enamored fortune teller Zeena (Joan Blondell), in Nightmare Alley, 1947.
Queen Christina (1933) - I Have No Time To Soothe You First appearance by Greta Garbo, now grown up, as the Swedish queen, a historical figure, consulting with her chancellor (Lewis Stone) and her (turns out to be...) amorous treasurer (Ian Keith), early in MGM's Queen Christina, also starring John Gilbert.
