Probably the most widely known of all American entrepreneurs,
Donald Trump made his name in New York City real estate,
beginning with the renovation of the Commodore Hotel into the
Grand Hyatt and continuing through the creation of Trump Tower,
Trump Place and other huge complexes bearing his name. Born in
Queens, New York, Trump has expanded into the airline industry,
the casino business and the world of television, where he became
a major player with his NBC reality show The Apprentice. A
double Emmy Award® nominee, “The Donald” also has made
guest appearances in several films, TV series and talk shows.
