Featuring Larry Hagman - 6/11
It is sometimes forgotten that, while building his television career in the 1960s and '70s, Hagman also appeared in several feature films. In his movie debut, Ensign Pulver (1964), he joined other up-and-comers Jack Nicholson, James Farentino and James Coco in small parts supporting Robert Walker Jr. in the title role.
In The Group (1966) Hagman plays the alcoholic husband of Joanna Pettet and shares a memorable confrontation with Candice Bergen as Pettet's lesbian friend. And in Harry and Tonto (1974), Hagman is the playboy son of Art Carney, lending crucial support to the older actor in his Oscar®-winning role.
