The Special Edition DVD contains several deleted scenes:- The reading of Baron Von Frankenstein's will via phonograph where it is revealed that all of the Baron's estate will go to Fredrick Frankenstein, who is not present at the reading.- Herr Falkstein (Richard Haydn) and Dr. Frankenstein discuss the doctor's trip to Transylvania as they walk down the street. The doctor hears a violin player playing the "Transylvanian Melody" we hear throughout the movie. He questions the violin player, then smashes his instrument.- The arrival of Inspector Kemp (Kenneth Mars), right after the monster has been animated.- Jack Sprat, the Highwayman, has an unfortunate encounter with the monster.- Fredrick and Inga (Teri Garr) have an intellectual discussion on the speed of light that is a thinly-veiled flirtation before they fool around in the lab.- Fredrick pays a late night visit to Inga's room after Elizabeth (Madeline Khan) has left him frustrated by her chastity. They agree to have another "intellectual discussion."- A parade of all the actors in the movie, all singing "O Sweet Mystery Of Life" as the walk by the camera.

In some versions of the movie, a scene which showed Dr. Frankenstein demonstrating the Monster's power of balance by placing a full milk bottle of the back of each of the creature's hands, was later cut. However, a photo in the paperback book of YF shows a still from the missing segment.
