I saw this movie back in the '1980's on CABLE T. V. CHANNEL and noticed it had scenes of the '''''MISSION INN in RIVERSIDE CALIF. - I later visited the 'MISSION - INN' my self and located a-few areas that were used in the movie -- It really BROUGHT-BACK thought's of the '1945' film & I just 'LOVED' the actors that played all their part's PERFECTLY!

This was one of the very first movies I saw as a kid that got me hooked on classic movies, in part due to Lizbeth Scott. Wow! Those eyes! That smile! Will always admire Robert Cummings. This is a great movie. You'll laugh, you'll tear-up, and you'll anxiously await to see it again.

I love this film; saw it in my young days and haven't seen it on TV in years. A tender love story with touches of humor this movie is a bittersweet love story of a young woman who has an affair with a handsome flier who is hiding the fact that he is dying, not knowing that she knows about it but choses to remain with him even though he knows his fate. They just don't make films like this any more!

  • Best Movie Ever!

You came along is one of the most enjoyable classic movies of all time. You will laugh and cry. I sure hope someone will release this to a DVD!!!! With all the terrible movies out there on DVD it is a shame they have this one so well hidden!
