Academy Award winners, Ingrid Bergman, Rex Harrison, George C. Scott, Shirley MacLaine and Art Carney lead a star-studded cast in this pre-World War II comedy-drama involving a yellow rolls-royce as the main centerpiece in this picture of passion, intrigue, adventure and love as the car is passed on from owner to owner in three different stories. They don't make them like this anymore. Filmed on location in England, Italy and Austria. Also starring Omar Sharif, Jeanne Moreau, Alain Delon, Wally Cox, Joyce Grenfell, Moira Lister, Edmund Purdom, Gregoire Aslan, MIchael Hordern, Guy Deghy, Isa Miranda, Roland Culver, Lance Percival, Harold Scott & Richard Pearson.

  • Terrific escapist fare with a stellar cast

An over-the-top star-studded Big Movie with gorgeous cinematography, memorable music and a cast that is in on the fun. Whether cruising at Ascot or with partisans in Europe during World War II, this is one Rolls that certainly gets around. Perfect for a rainy afternoon or an evening in front of the fire. Inexplicable that this one is not yet on video or DVD. In the words of the song introduced here, "Forget Domani" and instead spend a couple hours with The Yellow Rolls-Royce.

  • Great classic movie with Rex Harrison.

A wonderful movie that made a yellow rolls-royce the focal point of the movie. For all the old movies transferred to DVD's why not this classic.

  • I want to see this wonderful movie again!

I have waited for years to see this delightful movie again. I watched it as a child with my grandfather and have never forgotten it.

I had never heard of this movie and surfing one day cauht it when the first segment with Rex Harrison was amost complete. Must see all of it from beginning to end - please reschedule on TMC ASAP, I'll tape it if that is the only way once can get a copy of the movie. Would love to purchase a new DVD if ever made available. Thank you. 166 residents live here at San Clement Villas by the Sea, movies everyone night - all of us in the right age bracket to enjoy this one (75-105).Bonie J. Brwn

I saw your last screening of The Yellow Rolls Royce on TCM, loved it, recorded it and had the wretched recording automatically deleted by our poxy state of the art TV (sky+).Had a individual committed this crime, I fear I would now be facing criminal prosecution for my revenge. So, imagine my frustration. Please take pity on a thwated Rolls Royce voyeur who has only his own blue over black Rolls Royce Sedanca de ville P11 to remind him of the Yellow contemporary.

I am a member of the Rolls Royce Owner's Club in the USA (RROC). We have over 9,000 members and the subject of "The Yellow Rolls Royce" comes up frequently. Why can this movie not be available in DYD? This is the 100th anniversary of the Rolls Royce. Many members would enjoy this title. Thank you.
