I really like this featurette. Took me a minute to realize they were talking about Buena Park, California. I looked everywhere on line to buy this to add to our historical society but couldn't find it anywhere. Anyone has any info let me know,Thanks,Judy

Most likely the least interesting "Santa Fe Trail" western, "GUN TO GUN" stars Robert Shayne, Tom Tyler and Harry Woods. Released in January of 1944, this short's plot (what there is of it) involves a fraudulent scheme to takeover Spanish land grant deeds of title.Sometimes referred to as Warner Brothers' Featurettes, the "Santa Fe Trail" series of short (20min running time) two-reelers were released during the mid forties. Robert Shayne starred in seven of the eight with mixed results. Known mostly for his role as Inspector Henderson on the TV series "The Adventures of Superman," his motion picture credits include over 100 films. In the mid 1940s, Warner Bros. released eight two-reel westerns, roughly 20 minutes in length, and seven starred Robert Shayne who is best remembered for his later role as "Inspector Henderson" on the SUPERMAN TV show. Shayne's real name was Robert Shaen Dawe. He was born in Yonkers, New York in 1900 and passed away from cancer complications in 1992.For more information on Robert Shane visit www.robertshayne.com.
