Best Ida Lupino Movie Ever!
- Christine Tabor
- 2/21/09
Fortunately I had a chance to tape this not very well known film noir late at night on German TV many years ago. Unfortunately neither amazon.com nor moviesunlimited.com offers it.TCM is my only chance to finally see it in it's original language. This is a real gem (just like "The Accused" (1949) with Loretta Young and "Conflict" (1945) with Humphrey Bogart) and should get the attention it deserves. Instead of repeatingly showing "Casablanca" and "The Big Sleep", please think of lesser known movies...very often they are as good as these so-called classic film noirs, if not even better.
