This is without doubt, the most kind hearted film ever made, Makes one think, "if only..." Waking in the damp, cold of reality leaves one with the only solution; see this film as often as you can. You'll love every character and situation. The scene in the restaurant with the cockroach is one of the most hysterically well-done on film.

Absolutely hysterical film. Love Bob Preston's role in this. TCM should show this one more often. No other film can put a smile on my face quite like this on!

I really loved this movie. It was when I fell in love with James Garner. This movie had it all. Drama, comedy, musical and a fantastic cast of actors.

I give this movie the highest rating that is possible. They don't make movies like that anymore. Robert Prestonand Julie Andrews Did a surperb bit of acting in it, as well as everyone else. Victor/Victoria is one of those feel good movies that anyone can just sit down , watch, and enjoy. I will purchase a copy of that movie if I can ever find a copy. Also, some of the movie makers need to start seeking out people who can do some sort of acting like they used to do, and make more movies like V/V.

  • I miss Robert Preston

His work in V/V was so wonderful, he gives the movie heart and joy. Btw, I wonder if, while on the set, Julie Andrews and Lesley Anne Warren discussed the role they had in common, that of Cinderella in the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical filmed twice for TV starring each of them.
