LONESOME PINE is a remake of a silent film...watch for Robert Bruce and Howard Greene's cinematography and Henry Hathaway's stellar direction. The leads couldn't be more perfect: a young Henry Fonda, Fred MacMurray & Sylvia Sidney. They're joined by Nigel Bruce and character actress Beulah Bondi. Fuzzy McKnight sings an Oscar-nominatd folk song.

I work in an Assisted Living facility and have had residents request this movie, it seems to hold a dear place in many of their hearts. I've heard stories of how it was their first movie, and for one, the ONLY movie they ever saw, and actually got in trouble for it... gone are those days of simple pleasures. Releasing this one would conjure up some amazing memories for some of these dear folks.

This movie touched my heart years ago, along with my husband we enjoyed this wonderful movie, and to this day we still remember the saying (two pink eyed doves) fondly. Please give the new generation of movie lovers a chance to keep this close to their hearts also.
