    Shakespeare's cursed play is perfectly adapted by Kurosawa in feudal Japan. This is Mifune's most over-the-top performance, he & Kurosawa staged an exagerrated, but memorable death scene. Foggy cinematography is part of the visual greatness of the film, samurai armour & fortresses are impressive recreations. A chilling, faithful take on one of Shakespeare's best in a Japanese setting. I give it a 4/5.
