FATEBENEFRATELLI: Ghiga, a high-class call girl, is taken to a hospital run by friars after she is seriously injured in an automobile accident. Brother Felice, who is preparing to take his final vows, attempts to save Ghiga's soul while she attempts to seduce him. Later, Ghiga becomes a nun, and Felice leaves the order. LA VEDOVA: Giselle, a recently widowed Parisienne, brings her husband's body back to his hometown in Sicily without knowing that he was a Mafia kingpin. She innocently befriends several men in town, only to discover later that they have been murdered by her husband's associates.
