Aptly named film!

Considering the fact that Stanwyck and Taylor were having a mad, passionate affair while making this movie, and they married two years later after she was finally divorced, I'd say this film is perfectly named! The film is actually quite good and Stanwyck gets a chance to show her range here. It's not a great film but it is worth watching just to see Stanwyck's and Taylor's chemistry. Special mention should be made of Sidney Blackmer's performance as Theodore Roosevelt. It is spot on and elegant in its execution!

A must see. The cast of Barbara Stanwyck, Robert Taylor, the whole supporting cast and production are first rate.It adds historical weight and is fast paced. I first saw it as a child and have never forgotten it. I hope this gem is released on DVD in the near future.

You should see this period piece! It is good vintage classic thriller and the settings and costumes are something else. The feature has historical references and should be released on DVD for the educational enhancement if nothing else.I really enjoy watching this old feature and would highly recommend it to everyone. You would enjoy this one if you like old movies!
