• Gorgeous photography!

  This isn't a bad film. It's simply unusual for a Tarzan flick and I think that lends itself to a certain charm here. Mike Henry isn't the illiterate Tarzan of previous films and that helps a lot. The photography is beautiful. Henry is nice eye candy with a six-pack that is incredible and I have to admit that the shorter loincloth was mighty nice too! The little boy in this film is particularly good. I don't care who you are - it takes a lot of guts to ride on the back of a lion and he does it laughing all the way! Just enjoy this film for what it is and it's certainly a pleasant way to spend a short time on a Saturday!

• Body by Michaelangelo--- Tarzan meets James Bond

  The above were two ways writers described this film, the star Mike Henry former pro football player 6ft 3 inches and 228 lbs and a body that could have been sculplted by Michaelangelo, Henry brought a raw power to the role, and looked like artist Hal Foster's drawings of Tarzan. In this film as with the Mahoney films Tarzan goes to another country South America, but was filmed in Acapulco Mexico ( the same loctaion as Taran and the Mermaids), in this film Tarzan goes to help stop and gold seeking international criminal and his army of hired soldiers from destroying a hidden city and it's people. Look for the action scene where Henry takes on the helicopter.
