I think It's a great movie about good companions, trust and loyalty, something hard to find today. Perfect Roles for Holden & Carey at this point in there careers. Throw in a excellent support cast with some humor from Bendix & solid roles by Bedoya & Teal as the bad guys. I can't believe it has not been released on DVD or even worse been seen on TCM!!! Please try to do something about both. Thank You I give this movie 4 out 5 stars

It is great that TCM has taken a lead role in releasing classic old movies. it is important that a lot of these movies are now being owned by the generation between 50 - 70 years old. If these movies are not released in time for this generation, there will be no one left to watch or purchase them. thanks again for making these movies possible for us to own.

It's been a while since I've seen "Streets of Laredo", starring William Holden,William Bendix, MacDonald Carey, Mona Freeman, Alfonso Bedoya and a host of excellent character actors. It's a classic Western character study of friendship, greed treachery and betrayal with plenty of action. The under-rated MacDonald Carey as Lorn is about as perfect a likeable villain as one will ever find in a film. What a shame this intriguing movie seems to have been forgotten. Fans and film buffs of the classic Western, take heed. Vote for its release on DVD.
