Great little film!

This is a wonderful little comedy. Almost unknown, even amognst the buff community. It really does deserve a look though, delightful from the first frame to the last. Billy Gilbert gives his usual hysterical performance, Hedda Hopper is entertaining, and the climax is something Hal Roach could have filmed! The opening titles are missing, although the soundtrack seems authentic. The titles were probably lost in the 1950's when C&C TV Corp bought the RKO library and cropped the beeping tower off the prints. It looks as if someone reconstructed the opening and it's not bad, but I'd like to see how it originally looked. Miss Fontaine handles the screwball roll quite well, too bad she didn't do more films like this. I'd love to get a copy of the opening score (sheet music), it's fantastic.
