boring! as someone said no way! great writing and directing and acting! top notch!the story is very well paced and acted with great mystery not just gore! It remindsme of Haunted Strangler with Boris Karloff. The surprise ending is great! I can onlysay if you like old black and white mystery horror then this is a great movie! I got acopy of it from somebody a while back and just recently watched it again and it's bettereach time I watch it! It's not available but you can find a copy. boring? i think not!

why does this movie get no tv airplay or mentioned in horror movies conversation?I have a large collection of all universal and obscure horror and mystery from 30's to70's and I believe this is one of the best versions of the jekyll hyde movies! Boring?as one person commented on then they must need special effects. This movie is wellwritten, directed and acted by all. Superior to most horror of this era. I like the victorianfilming and surprise climax! I highly recommend even though hard to find on dvd I did find a copy made from a tcm broadcast someone made. It's on the screen! I love this movie!

This is one of the worst movies ever. The movie does not follow the story line at all; no actors from Dr. Jekyll and Mr, Hyde movie (1941). Awful, Awful, Awful!!!
