To those who are asking - The Smiling Ghost is available as part of the Warner Brothers Horror/Mystery Double Feature Collection. I believe it is available at Movies Unlimited. The set has three disks, each with a double feature. Five of the six were enjoyable, all except "Sh, The Octopus!".

This is a very engaging, breezy little comedy/thriller/romance in the great 'B' tradition. Wayne Morris is at his best here and Alexis Smith is a knock-out! A reviewer on another site remarked that this movie was 'fun in a magical sort of way', and I think he hit the nail on the head. You'll love it.

I saw this movie at least 20 years ago and have never forgotten how funny it was. For the longest time, I couldn't remember it's name, and I only learned the name after leaving a message on the TCM board. Thanks for the help and if it is ever scheduled to show again, please someone email me so I can see it. Thanks ahead of time.
