In the top 10 of all time westerns
Maybe one of the finest Westerns ever made. It is fast, powerful andhas an amzing cast. It is in the pantheon of 5 westerns made by Randolph Scott, Burt Kennedy and Budd Boetticher and by far the best. A sparse 78 minutes of beauitfully photographed, expertly written brilliantly acted film making. The major thrills of this film are the comeback appearance of the gorgeous Gail Russell and the early appearance of Lee Marvin as the villian of the piece. Don't miss this classic.
A Great Movie from a Great Actor
This is simply the greatest western movie ever made with arguably the greatest western actor ever. The efforts by all involved in this movie are beyond paralell.
A Great Westerner
This is one of those films that keeps your eyes and attention glued to the television. A great cast of characters... memerable and intresting-- Randolph Scott shows the talents, that many are not capable of for this genre. His natural way of acting was like he really was from that time and that very character he played. He deserves the "Star of the month" recognition with all the fine work he has done.
This is one of the finest westerns ever made. If you consider yourself a fan of the genre or a fan of Randolph Scott, having this movie in your library is an absolute must.
