    The world premiere of this movie took place at sea on March 21 1941 aboard the luxury liner "America" en route from Los Angeles to San Francisco. This was claimed as a "first" by Warner Brothers. It had its 'land premiere' On March 22 1941 at Jack London's ranch in the Valley of the Moon, Sonoma, California.
